VERITAS Announces PeopleSoft Certification for Application Performance Management Solution
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - November 12, 2003 -VERITAS Software (Nasdaq: VRTS), the leading storage software provider, today announced that PeopleSoft, Inc. has certified VERITAS i3 for PeopleSoft, the application performance management (APM) solution for PeopleSoft® Enterprise. VERITAS i3 software enables CIOs to deliver PeopleSoft applications as a measurable, accountable service that is aligned with business needs and capable of adapting to changing demands, the hallmark of today's utility computing requirements.
VERITAS i3 for PeopleSoft monitors performance across all components of the PeopleSoft Pure Internet Architecture®, including web servers, Java, application servers, database and storage. It is designed to correlate these performance metrics to user response time so administrators can identify and correct potential problems.
