Kaspersky Labs, an international data security software developer, has concluded an agreement with NETASQ (
www.netasq.com), a well-known producer of IPS-Firewalls to add Kaspersky(r) Anti-Virus scanning technology to its Intrusion Prevention Firewall range. The integrated solution includes the functions most demanded by users such as anti-virus and network protection, VPN support as well as Real-time Intrusion Prevention.
Netasq will start offering the Kaspersky Anti-Virus option in July on its midrange Intrusion Prevention Firewalls. The option initially will be available on the F100 and F500 IPS-Firewalls and will be available for the F200 IPS Firewall upon its release later this year. "Combining Kaspersky Labs' award winning Anti Virus software with our unique Intrusion Prevention technology will offer customers unprecedented ease of management, unmatched network security and a lower total cost of ownership."
