Irvine, Calif. (October 31, 2002) - Magic Software Enterprises (Nasdaq: MGIC), heeft Regev Yativ benoemd tot Managing Director in Europa. Tot voor kort was Yativ succesvol als COO bij Agro Marches International in Parijs. Agro Marches is gespecialiseerd in eBusiness platforms. Yativ was verantwoordelijk voor het gehele Europese management van alle Agro branches. De overstap van Yativ is niet over één nacht ijs gegaan en mag genoemd worden als een succesvol resultaat van de oriëntatie voor een nieuwe MD voor Magic in Europa.
Yativ heeft een uitstekende reputatie. Hij was als CEO verantwoordelijk bij Global
e-vestments BV Amsterdam, en als Vice President of International Sales bij Edusoft. Edusoft is een Nasdaq genoteerd bedrijf. Door deze ervaringen is Yativ zeer ervaren in Europese sales en management. Yativ zal zijn werkzaamheden uitvoeren vanuit Houten, het Europese kantoor van Magic in Nederland.
Yativ neemt de functie over van Oren Inbar. Deze wordt bij Magic de nieuwe President & CEO in Irvine (de thuisbasis van Magic Software Enterprises Inc.) Inbar is sinds mei 2000 in dienst geweest als Vice President and Managing Director Europe. Hij heeft binnen Magic verschillende functies vervuld.
Magic pakt de Europese operatie grondig aan. Daarom is, tenslotte, Richard Ashlock benoemd tot Professional Services Director Europe. Ashlock is bekend van Magic Minds, waar hij verantwoordelijk was voor Magic Mind's Media Factory, voor Human Resources, Facilities en ICT. Hij heeft ook functies gehad als senior in professional services en general management bij bedrijven zoals NerveWire, Razorfish, Cambridge Technology Partners en Apple Computers. Ashlock is verantwoordelijk voor Magic's services in Europa.
